Substitution Policy

We make every attempt to ensure that the gift that is received matches the gift pictured and described as closely as possible. Due to seasonal availability, product substitution may be necessary from time to time to ensure your gift is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care will be taken to ensure that any substitutions made are for products of equal or greater value and quality.

The same applies for the containers: In the event that a container (basket) becomes unavailable we reserve the right to substitute it with a like container with equal or greater value. If the substitution will drastically change the look or design of the basket we will contact you to discuss further options.


We require cancellations be made within 12 hours of order confirmation. Any order not cancelled within 12 hours will be subject to a non-refundable handling fee and service charge equal to 20% of the total order. The buyer will also be responsible for the shipping charges on any order that has actually been shipped prior to cancellation, as well as any return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Orders returned to us (due to recipients not picking them up), are subject to the same cancellation charges as above.

Cancellations of custom ordered multiples will forfeit their 50% non-refundable fee, which covers the cost of supplies.

All cancelled orders placed with a credit card that have already been processed will be subject to a $6.00 cancellation fee.


It’s In The Basket does not share, trade, sell or rent any of its customer or recipient information. It’s In The Basket may periodically use this information to communicate with its customers and recipients. Each customer and recipient communication includes an opt-out function which may be used.
